We are a community of organizations, advocates and activists who share the same goal: to end AIDS. The AIDS 2016 community guide provides a virtual platform for us to come together globally as we prepare for the 2016 International AIDS Conference. As such, it’s a social media hub tailored for communities and individuals who are interested in learning about and/or attending AIDS 2016, as well as a gateway to the conference to be held July 18-22, 2016 in Durban, South Africa. It is critical that communities of people living with and affected by HIV everywhere are represented in all aspects of AIDS 2016. This guide is one tool to help make that a reality and provide the space for communities to add their voices. The African Black Diaspora Global Network and the International Indigenous Working Group On HIV And AIDS have already created virtual spaces – places where they will share their specific AIDS 2016 information – on this site, and we are expecting others to join them in the run-up to the conference. Feel free to contact us if you would like your organization to be represented on the AIDS 2016 community guide!
